Are iPhone 3G’s in stock?

Didn’t want to camp out to be first in line to buy the new iPhone 3G?  Do what I’m doing… check inventory each night for the Birmingham Apple Store online.  Of couse, my other option is to go to a local AT&T store and put a deposit down for one and wait a week (or so) for it to arrive.

As of now, there are no iPhone 3G’s in stock here in Alabama… a road trip to the Memphis store could net your choice of all iPhone 3G models or a trip to the Atlanta store could get you the white-backed 16G (not my first choice).

The inventory search gets updated each night at 9pm for the following day, so keep checking.
